Sporting Heroes Jump to it as New Gym Opens

Coventry City star Marcus Hall joined Sky Blues legend Steve Ogrizovic and city rugby heroes to add the wow factor to the opening of the new sports hall at Whitley Abbey.

The Sky Blues full back along with rugby players Laurie McGlone and Donovan Sanders were guests of honour at the opening of the hall at Whitley Abbey Business and Enterprise College.

The sports hall is used by pupils for dance, football, cricket, basketball, netball and trampoling and by local sports clubs for cricket and football in the evenings.

School business manager Rachel Prince said: "Everybody is really pleased about it and is saying it's lovely. It's a big improvement on the facilities we had before."
